I can remember when I was a kid
the trip the the "country" from
Brooklyn every week. We would stop
at the Red Apple Rest which was a wonderful
Cafeteria style restaurant. It was such fun.
I can remember walking around the
different stations to choose our food.
Driving past it today saddened me...
This was such a wonderful place to
break up the drive. I have long wished
when seeing this in it decrepitude that
someone would purchase it and bring it
back to the glory days of it's past!
They say you can't go home again....I do so
wish that someone would take care of this
cool place and bring back the nostalgia of it!
I bet others out there feel the same way I do!
