Graphic 45 Update~

I got a response from Graphic 45 on my posting of my wall Art that I created using their "Steampunk Debutante" Line:

"Kathleen, beautiful work! These two inspiring pieces will make sure to keep the creative juices and positive energy flowing."

Pretty Cool, made my day!

Graphic 45....

I love Graphic 45. I don't think that there is

a line that they have produced that I haven't

enjoyed or wanted to create something out of!

I did post these before, but am posting them

again to share that today...finally....I posted

them to Graphic 45 who posed the question on

Facebook....what are you creating with our

stuff?

So I posted them this morning and am looking

forward to see what their reaction to them is.

Keep you posted!

My Office Walls....Finally!

After a year of being in my office...I have finally started to add things to my walls....I had the entire office painted white so I could expand from there

with riots of color~ I

made two pieces which

I previously shared

here from Graphic 45 Paper and lots of

Tim Holtz empheria.

Took an old Clock and re-hab'd it along with the light switch plate...they look great!

My other wall has my Prima Mosaics and some quotes from Thomas Paine, including one that was a favorite of George Steinbrenner: Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Way!

It's really starting to come together and it makes me happy!

Christmas in May?

I haven't been able to exchange this Christmas gift with my dear friends (Pictured) until just the other day!

Grunge board swirls colored with Tattered Angel Mist, matching color for the flowers that I sprayed as well. Add a Tim Holtz key and alittle ribbon along with a clear acetate ribbon which was alcohol inked and it went well with this off white painted frame.

They loved it! Blue being one of the absolutely favorite colors!

Mosaic Continued,,,,,

Another Prima Mosaic...this one was a really cool street scene. I did alot of relief work on this one too. Cut out all the little windows, sprayed it with Zana Sprays, used a ton of embellishments. The picture doesn't due it justice, poor lighting.

It's kind of a night scene....I may attempt another one with a Daylight sky...not sure yet.

Prima Mosaic

Prima makes the most amazing papers that you can paint, color, emboss, distress, cut up, spray with Tattered Angel Mists, Zana Sprays, Adorondack Ranger Sprays, you name it these papers fit the bill!

So what I did was make some resist with crayons, embossing powers, wax imprints, then I sprayed it with Zana Sprays, and added some stickles. I then cut it into the squares and trimmed til I was happy and it would fit in the frame...add a few embellishments, pop the squares with foam tape for dimension...and viola...mosaic...not the best picture because of the lighting...but very pretty in person....one of a kind original....like it!

Steam Punk Debutante continued.....

More of our Favorite Tim Holtz and Graphic 45.....my first wall hanging needed a mate
same techniques and empheria ... and a great compatible was born....the picture doesn't due it justice due to the poor lighting in my office and a camera hissy fit.

Steam Punk Debutante

Inspired by Tim Holtz and the wonderful Graphic 45 Papers, I decided to make some wall Art for my Office. I started with a Floating canvas which I painted Jade to bring out the colors in the paper....add a little Tim Holtz gears, tickets, spinners, inks, some Tattered Angel Mist...paper flowers and a few other bits of emphera and I was a very happy camper....this is going to look great on my wall! It's 12 x 12 just the right size~now I need a compatible....tune in tomorrow!
